I recently got a new crystal ball. Tomorrow night I intend to cleanse and charge it under the light of the full moon. I have searched all over the 'net for a good ritual for this, but have found little. I have put together the following from what I have found. Does it sound okay?

First I am going to give it a cleansing bath in water and a teaspoon of sea salt. (Unfortunately I have no mugwort and no time to get any.) I will towel dry it gently then wrap it in the black silk cloth I keep it in. I'll take it outside and unwrap it. I will hold it up to the light of the full moon and say:

Great White Lady of the sacred night
Fill this orb with thy holy light.
Past and future, far and near
May it grant true sight where e'er I peer.

I will then set it down in a safe place where it can bask in the rays of the Lady's purifiying light for at least an hour. Then I'll wrap it back up in the cloth and take it back inside, ready for use.

Does this sound okay?

As many of you know, I am not the typical Wiccan. I do not follow the Wiccan belief that there is only one God and one Goddess, and that all others are reflections of those two. I am pantheistic, following the Celtc panthoen for the most part. Cernunnos is my patron deity and, for the most part, has been the only deity that I have worshipped. Recently I have begun having visions of a moon goddess too, so I am adapting to having her on my altar as well. But I'm not sure how to handle the sabbats. Should I observe them or not? Lughnasadh, of course, is a celebration of the god Lugh. I don't follow Lugh, so should I observe it or not? Imblolc celebrates Brigid. I don't follow her either, so do I observe Imbolc? I do believe in them, I just don't focus on them. Are there any Cerunnos-specific holidays that I should observe? Since I have now begun having visions of this new moon goddess, I shall now begin paying closer attention to the moon phases, paticularly full and new moon. I'll probably also pay closer to the lesser sabbats too. Any thoughts on this?

Hello everyone!

I need your help. As you may already know, I've only been pagan for about a year, and for most of that time I have focused my attention on just worshipping Cernunnos my patron deity. I was married for 20 years to a woman who found it fun to be controlling and domineering. As a result I have resisted the idea of worshipping any form of goddess. I believed in them, knew they were real, acknowledged their existence, just did not feel compelled to worship them.

Despite this, I have always felt a deep connection with the moon, even before I converted to paganism. Every time I go out the door at night, I always look to see where she is, notice what phase she is in, and pause to admire her beauty. I actually feel disappointment when I look and find she's in the new moon phase. Whenever I see her, I always tell her just how beautiful I think she is. I even find myself at times telling her my deepest thoughts, my deepest secrets, my innermost feelings. I don't consider myself called by the moon, but I definitely feel a bond with her.

Well, now I feel I'm enetering a phase in my path where I think all of this about to change. I am having visions of a goddess, but I'm not sure who she is. All I'm sure of is that she is a moon goddess. Here is a description of what I am seeing:

She is tall, pale with blonde/white hair and ice blue eyes. She is beautiful with a kind, caring face. She wears a long white hooded cloak with a hood that she always wears pulled up. In some ways she reminds me of the Queen from the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, though much softer and kinder.

Can anyone identify her for me? I need to know who she is so that I can begin to acknowldge her and incoporate worship of her into my path.
